My research focuses on developing numerical models that can help us understand the complex mechanical behavior of geomaterials such as sea ice and the Earth crust.
I am working at the Institut des Sciences de la Terre (ISTerre) and the Institut des Géosciences de l’Environnement (IGE) in Grenoble, France.
I am currently holding a Chair Professor Junior at Université Grenoble Alpes on
Multi-scale mechanical interactions in complex geophysical media : theory, modelling and impacts and leading the work package 2 of the Scale Aware Sea Ice Project.
